Celebrate summer on Federal Hill in Providence, Rhode Island – the annual Summer Festival is hosted by the Federal Hill Commerce Association! This annual festival is returning with new dates. Spanning three days of festivities over the Victory Day weekend from August 9 – 11, 2025, this celebration brings together the best of food, live entertainment, and Italian culture for an unforgettable experience.

Indulge your senses with an array of culinary delights from our diverse food and retail vendors. From rich, time-honored traditional Italian cuisine to an exciting spectrum of international flavors, there’s something to satisfy every craving. And while you’re enjoying the delicious culinary options, wander the avenue to view the unique offerings presented by our talented artisans and merchants. Elevating the ambiance, two stages will have a wide variety live entertainment. There’s always a tempo to be enjoyed during the Summer Festival. Street Closure Information

From Bradford Street to Dean Street along Atwells Avenue will be OPEN to vehicle traffic each night. Participating restaurants in this section will have parklets set up on the Avenue directly in front of their doors.

From Dean Street to Sutton Street along Atwells Avenue will be CLOSED to all vehicle traffic from 10 am August 9 to 10 pm August 11.
